The PGIS is pleased to announce that the 29th Scientific Writing Workshop (in-person) is scheduled to be held on 26th and 27th July 2025.
This workshop is primarily intended for Master’s students who registered in 2023 in the following programs:
- Master’s students registered in 2023 for Analytical Chemistry, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Biodiversity, Ecotourism and Environmental Management, Water Resources Management, Gemmology and Industrial Minerals, and Science Education
- Master’s students registered in 2024 for GIS and Remote Sensing, Medical Physics, Physics of Materials, and Applied Epidemiology
- M.Phil./Ph.D. students who registered under any Board of Study (except Statistics and Computer Science, and Mathematics) and were not previously offered this workshop are now eligible to participate.
- Please note:Master’s students registered in 2023 and 2024 in the aforementioned programs, as well as M.Phil./Ph.D. students who registered under any Board of Study (except Statistics and Computer Science, and Mathematics) and were not previously offered this workshop, do not need to send a request email since they have already been included in the Scientific Writing Workshop student list.
- M.Sc./M.Phil./Ph.D. students who were offered this workshop previously but were unable to attend or had poor attendance now have the opportunity to participate.These students should send a request email (On or before 18th July 2025) to jayampathi@pgis.lk or iqac@pgis.lk with the following information :
