Human Growth and Maturation – Clinical Applications

The Board of Study in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the PGIS has organized the above one-day workshop, which is scheduled to be held on Friday 2nd September 2011 at the PGIS.
Objectives of the Workshop:
• To disseminate and update the knowledge in human growth and maturation among pediatric postgraduate students, senior house officers and academic staff of the University of Peradeniya.
• To facilitate interactions among preclinical and clinical departments of other universities regarding human growth and maturation.
• To improve the teaching efficacy of the human growth and development module of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya.
Target Audience: Senior medical officers, pediatric postgraduate students and academic staff of preclinical and clinical departments of the universities
Minimum Qualification: Basic degree (MBBS, BDS, BSc, BVSc)
Venue: Postgraduate Institute of Science, University of Peradeniya
Workshop Fee: (includes lunch, tea and refreshments): Rs. 300/=
