Applications are called for the above workshop organized by the Board of Study in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the PGIS to be held at the Agricultural Biotechnology Centre, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya.

Eligibilty:
  B.Sc. (Agriculture or Science) graduates
  Technical Officers (recommended by the Head/Department)

Objectives:
To impart theory and practical knowledge required for cell and tissue culture applications, including preparation of media and sterilization methods, maintenance of a tissue culture laboratory, application of cell and tissue cultures for mass production, crop improvement and tissue culture research..
