Wildlife garden is an environment friendly low maintenance
garden attractive to and support various forms of wildlife
such as birds, small mammals, amphibians, butterflies
and other insects. Wildlife gardening is a popular concept
but rather new to Sri Lanka.
The objective of the workshop is to introduce wildlife
gardening and address,
• Wildlife gardening-landscape practices and principles
of creating a wildlife garden
• Ways of attracting wildlife (birds, butterflies,
dragon flies and other insects) to the garden.
Target
Group:
Those interested in gardening, wildlife gardening
and practicing landscaping, preferably with a university
degree. Number of participants will be limited to 30.
Workshop Fee:
Rs. 1500/= (Includes course material, lunch
and tea).
